Years ago, Chris Walla (DCfC) told Moutique about Idaho, stating we should check out his favorite record Levitate. Walla tends to be right about music recommendations and soon we started working with them. Lead by Jeff Martin, this LA-based band draws heavy comparisons to Red House Painters, no doubt due to the timbre of Martin’s vocals. Idaho experiments with sonic textures and layered vocals, creating more lush compositions than the signature sparseness of their indie rock peers. Idaho’s music is simply beautiful.
