Seeing a musical project from inception to live show is the most rewarding part of working with musicians. Andrew “Whitey” Whiteman used to share his demos with us while on tour with Broken Social Scene and we knew he should be a part of the Moutique family. In keeping with the sonic chaos of BSS but more structurally polished, Apostle of Hustle showcases exactly what Whitey excels at – an expansive lyrical sense, a wide-range of instrumental proficiency, and a clear reverence for fusing rock music with whatever he is inspired by.
